According to Rai al-Youm website, the delegation, headed by Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, said prayers at the mosque in Jerusalem al-Quds.
Khalid bin Khalifa is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence.
He later told an Israeli radio station that they visited the mosque covertly because otherwise, the Awqaf Office running the mosque would not have allowed the delegation to enter it.
He also claimed that 90 percent of Bahraini people approve of the Manama regime’s move to normalize ties with Tel Aviv.
Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates signed official agreements at the White House on September 15 enabling full normalization of their relations with Israel.
The deals had been announced by US President Donald Trump respectively earlier.
All Palestinian factions, Bahrain’s opposition groups, and numerous independent Muslim circles have roundly denounced the normalization trend as a stab in the back of the Palestinian nation and sheer betrayal of their cause of liberation from the Israeli occupation and aggression.
